Begin Body
The rib is done. The increases for the body are done. Since we are
knitting in the round, the rib for the complete body is done. As I was
doing my ribbing, I was thinking that we may not use a rib on the
sleeves but do a rolled cuff. Think about it while you are knitting the
body to the underarm.
To begin knitting the body of the sweater, we need to transfer the
stitches from the rib needle to the body needle.
The directions read, 'With larger circular needle...' All this means is
start knitting the next round. All rounds from this point--until we
separate the back and front--will be knit. That means that you knit every
stitch.
Pick up the larger circular needle in your right hand and begin
knitting with it.

The black needle is my larger circular needle. When the round is
finished all the stitches will be on the larger needle. Don't lose your
markers. Be sure to transfer them also.
Once the sts are transferred, you have completed one
round of the body. Continue knitting until you have completed 50 rounds,
or the
piece measures 15" from the beginning.
At some point, you are going to start on your second ball of yarn.
When you are at the end of one ball, stop knitting when you have a 5"
tail. Leaving a 5" tail on the new ball, just knit the next stitch with
it. You will have a hole in your knitting where you ended one ball and
started the next. We will take care of the hole during the finishing.
