Sleeve Trim

This is what the bottom of our sleeve is going to look like.

We are not going to worry about the tail at the moment.

The next step in the directions reads:

Change to smaller needles for ribbing.

Sleeve-to-Rib Dec Round

  [Work 9   k2tog, work 8,   k2tog] 1x

work 9.

Work 2x2    rib for 12 rounds[2.5"].

Bind off 28 sts.

We are going to rewrite the directions.

1. Do Not Change to smaller needles.

Work the decreases as indicated. Knit 9, k2tog, knit 8, knit 2 tog.

There are 28 stitches remaining.

To get the rolled effect, knit 7 more rounds.

Bind off the 28 stitches.

You bind off the same way we did at the front neck. Knit two stitches. Two stitches on the right hand needle. Lift the second stitch on the right hand needle over the first. (One stitch bound off., one stitch on the right hand needle.). Knit the next stitch. Two stitches on the right hand needle. Lift the second stitch over the first. Continue in this manner until all the stitches are bound off. Cut the yarn and pull it through the last loop.

You are done with the sleeve. Only one more to go!

Work second sleeve same as first.
