Since I love to knit without interruption in the flow, I always
found both the cable chart and the cable needle annoying. I would
look at wonderful Arans, think about them, but never knit them
because I didn't want to be married to a chart or always trying to
find my cable needle.
Long before Stitch & Motif Maker was ready, I developed a
workshop named Cable Needle Freedom. The workshop is a combination
of visualization techniques and turning the cable sans cable needle.
Using these techniques, I can now knit a complicated cable
pattern in less time than it takes me to knit seed stitch.
I hope this book will remove the mystery from of chart reading.
Its purpose is to enable you to work the setup for your cables and
never need to look at the chart again!
Included are two basic exercises and a third exercise which
produces the hat on the cover. There are also patterns for a pair of
socks and the two sweaters pictured. The sweater patterns are
written for both cardigan or pullover versions.
