We named this stole, Equinox because it
will be equally wonderful in the Spring or in the Fall.
Note the lovely hand made
shawl pin. It is one of a kind.
Nancy McFarlane's design is a great introduction to lace knitting.
Yet, even an experienced lace knitter will find the knitting
interesting.
The central panel and the borders are knit at the same time. Nancy
used an integrated picot edging for that extra touch of lace.
The sample above was knit with Jojoland Rhythm variegated. We have
also knit another with Jojoland solid worsted and are still debating
which one we like best.
Our next rendition will probably be with Melody, a fingering weight
yarn.
It seems no matter which yarn we use, the stole is a stunning
accessory.
