In a few clicks, Knitting Math Wizard will solve many of the mathematical dilemmas associated with knitting.
When you pattern reads, increase 10 sts evenly across the row, all you need to know is how many stitches are currently on your needle. Enter the number of
stitches, enter the number of increases, Click Ok.
Knitting Math Wizard will generate a checklist with your increases evenly spaced and grouped across the row.
In addition to the arithmetical functions, Knitting Math Wizard is also a mini word processor. You are able to edit any portion of the output. You can
rearrange the groupings of decreases on a sleeve to be sure they always come on a right side row.
Save your file as an .rtf file and open in any major word processor or send it to your PDA.
Thinking about dressing up a plain sweater with one cable down the center. Just tell Knitting Math Wizard how many stitches in your cable and how many
stitches on your needle. The little wizard within the software will let you know where to place your markers to guarantee a centered cable.
Worried about how the one cable will affect your gauge. No problem. Knit a swatch of your background stitch. Knit a swatch with your cable. Tell the wizard
the measurements of both swatches and it will generate the gauge for your garment.
